Operational Excellence (OE) is the department when it comes to improvements within the DUV factory. The OE department is tasked with doubling capacity within the Deep Ultra Violet lithography systems (DUV) plant over the next three years! Produce smarter, achieve sustainable growth, and increase scalability is the challenge! A challenging assignment that we can really use your help with!
As an OE trainee your responsibilities include (sub)projects within this context. Think of projects that contribute to the further optimization of production within the DUV factory. In the field of output, quality, safety or lead times. Initiating operational improvement projects and optimizing processes can be part of your work. As you can see there are enough opportunities within this traineeship to develop yourself optimally in the field of Operational Excellence!

When I was studying I did not give much thought to where I would best fit as a professional in the corporate world. The Ormit Talent & ASML traineeship allowed me to explore my potential work identities in three unique ways. Firstly, I got to explore different departments at ASML; from finance and tax to project management. Secondly, fellow trainees pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me discover things about myself that I did not know. Last but not the least, through challenging but rewarding discussions with my leadership coach, I gained awareness about my strengths and weaknesses. For a person with a mathematics background, it was a surprise to find out that I excelled in the intersection between people and content.
